Pre-Placement Exam with Physical Agility Test - Employer sends employee in to get a physical examination that includes an agility test before hiring for a position with a lot of heavy lifting
Respiratory Exam - Normally performed on those who are commonly exposed to pesticides
Lumbar X-Rays (AP and Lateral) - Employer preference, most common for those who do a lot of heavy lifting
Chest X-Ray (AP Only) - Performed on request
Chest X-Ray (AP and Lateral) - Performed on request
Lab Tests - Varies
Spirometry Test - Performed on those who are commonly exposed to pesticides
Audiometry Test - Some facilities request this as protocol
Flu Shot - Standard Flu Shot
Acupuncture - Primary treating physician decides if acupuncture is necessary
TDAP - Performed when there are any open wounds/punctures
Hepatitis B (Series of 3) - Precautionary prevention for those who may be exposed to others that have Hepatitis B
TB Skin Test - Precautionary exam to determine if you have been exposed
Tetanus Shot - Performed when there are any open wounds/punctures
